Job Overview

You’ll build the user-facing layer of Flames — crafting fast, responsive, and highly intuitive interfaces for developers using AI coding tools. This isn’t just about UI polish; it’s about performance, architecture, and delivering seamless real-time experiences.

You’ll work closely with product, design, and backend teams to turn complex workflows into clean, efficient interfaces. If you care about speed, scalability, and writing frontend code that actually holds up in production, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Develop intuitive UI for complex, developer-focused workflows

  • Build and maintain high-performance, scalable frontend applications

  • Collaborate with product and design to translate ideas into production-ready features

  • Optimize performance, rendering, and load times across the application

  • Architect reusable components and maintain a scalable frontend codebase

  • Integrate APIs and work closely with backend systems

  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design

  • Debug and resolve production issues with a focus on long-term fixes

What We're Looking For

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React preferred)

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend engineering

  • Deep understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization

  • Experience building and shipping production-grade web applications

  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles

  • Experience working with APIs and backend integration

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and ship quickly

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary: $120,000 – $160,000 depending on experience

  • Fully remote work environment (US-based preferred)

  • Equity package included

  • $2,000 annual learning & development budget

  • Home office setup stipend

  • Async-first culture — minimal meetings

  • 25 days PTO + public holidays
